Survivor Freedom Store

The Project Passion Freedom Store is a community-centered resource hub created to restore dignity, hope, and stability for individuals and families recovering from hardship. Originally established in response to the Eaton Fire, the Freedom Store has grown into a trusted space where community members can access essential items at no cost through a personalized shopping experience. Rather than receiving pre-packaged donations, families are welcomed into a warm, organized environment where they can select the clothing, household goods, hygiene products, baby supplies, food, and other necessities that best meet their unique needs. By giving people the freedom to choose, we help restore a sense of normalcy and empowerment during difficult times.

Today, the Freedom Store continues to serve wildfire survivors while also supporting individuals and families facing financial hardship throughout the Pasadena and Altadena communities. Through partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, faith organizations, and generous donors, the store is regularly stocked with high-quality essential items that help families rebuild their lives. More than a place to receive resources, the Freedom Store serves as a gateway to additional support, connecting visitors to disaster recovery assistance, housing resources, workforce development opportunities, mental health services, and other community programs. Every visit reflects Project Passion's commitment to meeting immediate needs while helping families move toward long-term stability and resilience.
